Returns / Replacement Policy
Indie Hobby
All product sales are final except for specific circumstances that fall within the Product Return Policy described in detail below.
1. Product Return Period
1.1 Seven (7) Day Return Window
Customers may apply for Product Returns within seven (7) days from the date of delivery shown in the order record by providing original proof of purchase (order number or purchase receipt).
1.2 Inspect Package Upon Delivery
Customers should inspect the integrity of the product packaging upon receipt. If the product packaging is damaged or shows obvious signs of crushing or deformation, please contact Indie Hobby customer service within seventy-two (72) hours after the package has been successfully delivered and provide evidence of the damage (photos or videos).
1.3 Expiration of Return Window
Indie Hobby may not accept or process any Product Return requests submitted after the seven (7) day return window has expired.
2. Product Return Acceptance Scope
2.1 Order Eligibility Restriction
Product Returns are only available for orders placed through official Indie Hobby channels, including the official Indie Hobby online store and official Indie Hobby booths at conventions.
For orders placed through third-party platforms or retail distributors, customers must contact the original purchasing platform or retailer for return assistance.
2.2 Ineligible Product Return Scenarios
The following scenarios are not eligible for Product Returns:

Non-quality-related returns or exchanges, including but not limited to disliking the style, changing one’s mind, or making an incorrect purchase

Non-compliance with Product Return Standards, where the product does not meet Indie Hobby’s quality or defect assessment criteria

Duplicate items from non-whole set purchases, which are considered normal for blind or random assortments
To avoid duplicate items, customers are encouraged to purchase whole set options when available.
2.3 Product Return Problem Assessment Criteria
If customers encounter the following quality issues within the return period, they may initiate a Product Return by providing relevant evidence (photos or videos):

The product does not meet the standards described on its labeling or packaging
Applicable to all products.
2.4 Defect-Related Issues
If customers encounter defects within the assessment criteria below, they may initiate a Product Return within the return window by providing supporting evidence.
Applicable Product: Blind box designer art cards
Defect Identification Standards:
-
Cracks in acrylic cases or punctures in blind boxes
-
Extensive scratches or scuffs on the card surface
The following conditions are considered normal, meet quality standards, and are not eligible for Product Returns:

Light scratches or scuffs on the outside of acrylic cases or blind boxes
-
Oil stains or Newton rings inside acrylic display cases caused by card contact
-
Minor dents on blind box corners
-
Missing acrylic case stickers
-
Missing internal insert card covers
2.5 Other Issues
2.5(a) Duplicate Items in a Whole Set
If a customer purchases a complete whole set and receives duplicate items, they must provide:

Photos of all products in the whole set
-
Order number
-
Unboxing video
Once verified, Indie Hobby will resend the missing items to complete the set.
2.5(b) Empty Package Issue
Indie Hobby warehouses guarantee that only complete products are shipped. If a package is abnormally light and confirmed to be empty, customers must provide:

Order number
-
Clear image of the shipping label
-
Unboxing video proving the package was empty
2.5(c) Packaging Damage
Customers must inspect packaging upon delivery. For severe damage or obvious crushing or deformation, contact customer service within 72 hours and provide photo or video evidence.
Packaging damage not eligible for Product Return includes minor scratches, abrasions, dents, or plastic wrap tears that do not affect the internal product.
2.6 Product Return Process
Returned products must be mailed to the designated return address provided by Indie Hobby. Once received and inspected by the warehouse, Indie Hobby will process either a refund or replacement shipment.
Replacement products will only be shipped to the same country or region as the original order.
3. Return Shipping Fees
3.1 Returns Caused by Indie Hobby
If the return is due to Indie Hobby responsibility, including product defects, incorrect shipments, or transit damage, Indie Hobby will cover return shipping costs.
3.2 Returns Caused by Customer
For returns due to customer reasons, including refused packages, incorrect address entry, or non-quality-related issues, all shipping costs (outgoing and return) are the responsibility of the customer.
4. Special Notes
If a customer engages in deliberate or suspicious behavior when applying for a Product Return, including but not limited to:

Claiming non-receipt after confirmed delivery
-
Reporting empty packages without valid proof
-
Failing to meet return policy requirements
-
Providing incorrect or mismatched addresses
-
Submitting defect images unrelated to the purchased item
Indie Hobby reserves the right to:
-
Request additional verification, including complete unboxing videos and defect images
-
Refuse returns or refunds, with any resulting loss borne by the customer
