INDIE introduces INDIE Masters: Civilization, a new trading card collection exploring the people, ideas, and achievements that shaped the human experience. Spanning ancient empires, revolutionary movements, and landmark discoveries, the release brings together a wide range of historical subjects in a format built around curiosity, storytelling, and collecting.
The checklist draws from a world of leaders, thinkers, artists, explorers, and enduring mysteries. Subjects such as Alexander the Great, Benjamin Franklin, and Vincent van Gogh illustrate its scope, while objects like the Antikythera Mechanism bring human ingenuity into focus. Familiar names appear alongside unexpected subjects, creating opportunities to discover something new with each pack.
At the center of the collection is a three-tier structure: Foundation Class, Icon Class, and Master Class. These classes organize the core set into distinct collecting levels, giving collectors several paths to pursue as they build their collections.
Foundation Class provides the broad starting point, introducing a varied selection of subjects from across civilization. Icon Class builds on that foundation with a dedicated lineup of influential figures and notable subjects, while Master Class forms the collection’s highest tier. Each class has its own checklist, encouraging collectors to work toward individual class sets or pursue the complete collection.
INDIE Masters: Civilization moves away from an emphasis on traditional parallel hunting, placing greater attention on the collectible cards themselves, the stories they carry, and the connections to the contribution of human civilization Holographic versions complement the core classes, while themed inserts and rare cards add further layers to the collecting experience. Collectors can follow a particular era, seek out favorite historical figures, or discover subjects that spark a new interest.
The inserts expand the theme through distinct collecting concepts. Turning Points explores events that redirected history, while others explores locations and people.
Together, the tiered classes, holographic versions, inserts, and rare cards create a collection with several avenues to explore. The appeal extends from completing a checklist to finding an unexpected favorite.
INDIE Masters is also loaded with SSP cards randomly inserted into packs. Cards that stand out from the rest that also tells the story of civilization. Look for 1 of 1 Master class cards and SSP inserts and case hits numbered to 5.
